Joe & Holly's Crazy Bear Weddng

I met Joe and Holly through my lovely bride Bec whose wedding I shot earlier this year - these two have an amazing friendship and were incredibly supportive bridesmaids for each other.

After a lovely ceremony at St James' Church in Little Milton the reception was hosted at The Crazy Bear in Stadhampton.  It's a great venue and offered rich colours, textures and quirks as a photography backdrop.

The things that I remember the most include; the beautiful jewellery (sigh) - Holly's family are in the business so she (and her sister and mum) had the most beautiful collection of rings, necklaces, bracelets etc.  I am a total magpie and have a weakness for jewellery so it was hard to give that engagement ring back!  The crazy wall covering in the bridal suite - opulent doesn't come close and the bed which I just had to get all of the girls, big and small, on for photos.  The wonderful moroccan colours of the Crazy Bear reception rooms - I loved the hot pinks and oranges which was carried through the ties, button holes, bouquets and bridesmaid dresses.  All of the thoughtful detail that Holly had put into the personalised gifts and the sweet table. The LOVELY vicar - he was just so nice to us which is rare.  How overwhelmed their daughter, Summer, was at times and a little jealous of all that kissing (check out the car shot - hilarious).  And I loved that she was part of the 'cake' topper and all of the animals appeared amongst the cheese.  How relaxed Joe and Holly were during the couple session - which I think shows in the pictures.  Getting to see Jonny and Bec again.  And all of those beautiful twinkly lights - the Crazy Bear gardens transform at night and I couldn't resist getting them out there for some last shots before we gave them a massive hug goodbye.

Thank you to Nikki Sheffield who was her usual lovely self in assisting me.  Look forward to seeing you soon Joe and Holly and seeing what Joe thought of 'those' pics... ;)
